Who I am, What I Do & Why I Do It

Background & Experience

Hi, I’m Jason Lee, founder of Incendium Studios – an independent, veteran-owned web design & development studio based in Salem, Oregon.

I’ve spent over two decades working in the technology and web development space, building everything from custom content management systems and ecommerce platforms to interactive media and performance-driven business websites. Along the way, I’ve had the opportunity to work with a wide range of clients, including the U.S. Navy, Hewlett Packard, Experian, StubHub, the PGA, Tri-City Medical Center, and several well-known authors and organizations.

Before founding Incendium Studios, I served in the U.S. Army during Operations Desert Shield and Desert Storm as part of a special weapons section that required classified security clearance. That experience shaped how I approach my work today – with discipline, attention to detail, and a strong sense of responsibility.

After leaving the military, that background allowed me to contribute to federal projects such as the HARM missile tactical manual and interactive instructional training media for U.S. Navy SEAL operations. Even when the work is highly technical, my goal is always the same: create solutions that are reliable, purposeful, and built with care.

Life Beyond One Location

My career and passions have also taken me beyond the U.S., living and working in places like Singapore, Kuala Lumpur, and Thailand. Along the way I’ve supported local businesses and organizations as a consultant, from an internet café in Singapore to a technical support role at a business college in Malaysia. Those experiences reinforced the importance of adaptability, clear communication, and meeting people where they are – all of which inform how I work with clients today.

Why I created Incendium Studios

While I continue to collaborate and consult with larger firms and agencies, I wanted to create something that allows me to work more directly with individuals and businesses who may not feel comfortable navigating large agency environments, or who simply prefer a more personal, approachable experience.

Incendium Studios was built to provide that space – where clients receive direct attention, honest guidance, and dependable execution without unnecessary complexity or hand-offs. When you work with me, you’re working directly with the person planning, building, and maintaining your website.
